BRIEF DESCRIPTION

The north-western part of Mare Crisium is encircled by large mountain massifs. Under oblique illumination numerous wrinkle ridges are prominent on the surface of the mare. Under high illumination the rays from the crater Proclus are prominent.  Refer to your copy of the Rukl lunar atlas chart, page 79.
