BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The eastern edge of Mare Fecunditatis and the eastern limb of the Moon are intersected by a wide and desnse field of craters, in which orientation is not easy. The crater Langrenus is a beautiful sight through a telescope. During favorable librations the dark surface of Mare Smythii is visible close to the limb of the Moon.
