PHOCYLIDES
Directory - Section 70

BRIEF DESCRIPTION
This area adjacent to the south-western limb of the Moon includes an exceptionally interesting crater, Wargentin, which is totally filled with lava up to its brim so that its floor forms a plateau. The crater Pingre is situated further south, on the inner edge of the wall of a lunar basin 300 km in diameter. Refer to your copy of the Antonin Rukl lunar atlas chart, page 167.
