BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The northern region of the Moon and the western part of Mare Frigoris. The lower part of the section is occupied by the walled plain Plato which has a very dark floor. Mare Frigoris and Mare Imbrium are separated by a narrow "continental strip".  Refer to your Antonin Rukl atlas chart of the Moon, page 33.
