TARUNTIUS
Directory - Section 37

BRIEF DESCRIPTION
A narrow 'continental' strip separates Mare Tranquilitatis from Mare Fecunditatis. To the northeast is the dark area of the Mare Crisium, bordered by a mountain massif and numerous craters. Under the low illumination the edge of Mare Crisium offers a beautiful view. This area is intersected from the west by the rille Rima Cauchy. Refer to your copy of the Antonin Rukl lunar atlas chart, page 101.
